Let’s see how can you bring the geo-spatial data from your network into QGIS, an open source GIS application.
First, after opening your network, go to:
File > Export > Asset data to open the Asset data export dialog.

Let’s select “GeoJSON (.zip)” as the export format, and keep “Include simulation results” and “Selected assets only” unchecked to extract data for all assets in the network. Click the “Export” button to export the data.

A .zip compressed file will be downloaded to your computer containing the GeoJSON files for each asset type in the network (pipes, junctions, pumps, customer points, etc…). Locate the file in your file explorer, and decompress it with your tool of choice.
Finally, drag and drop all the .geojson files into the QGIS layer drawer to automatically import the exported data into the application.
The same process can be followed to import network data into other geo-spatial applications, such as ArcGIS.
