In this second example, let’s see how to import simulation results into Microsoft Excel as a spreadsheet to analyze them.

We will use an example network with an extended-period simulation (EPS) of 24 hours.

First, ensure a simulation has been run Then, go to:

File > Export > Simulation results to open the Simulation results export dialog.

Let’s select “Microsoft Spreadsheet (.xlsx)” as the export format, and choose “Flows” and “Pressures” to export only these two simulation properties. Click on “Export” to start the process.

After a few seconds, the file will be available on your computer to open with Microsoft Excel, or any other spreadsheet processing software compatible with Microsoft Excel .xlsx files.
